'Happiness Habits' is an online course designed to help you acquire practical insights and skills for a more joyful and balanced life. This is a short course, which is nevertheless deep and impactful. Unlike many things we learn and forget, the teachings of this course have been curated from the experience of teaching hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world. The instructor of this course, Nithya Shanti, trained as a forest meditation monk for six years and has been sharing these teachings for over twelve years all over the world. His aim to create a cultural shift from seeking to spreading happiness.

About Nithya

Nithya Shanti is an internationally respected teacher and facilitator dedicated to sharing principles and practices for conscious living in a fun and accessible way. He enjoys learning, practicing and sharing various facets of conscious living with those who are drawn to a more intuitive way of living.

He learnt meditation at the age of sixteen and began a daily meditation practice. After an MBA from a leading business school and a short stint in the corporate world, Nithya was drawn to explore his passion for meditation and mindfulness further. In 2003 he ordained as a forest meditation monk in North East Thailand and spent the next six years in remote monasteries in various parts of South East Asia. 

In 2008 he chose to step out of the monk role to practice and share his learnings in a more universal way which integrated the best things he had learnt from various different teachers and traditions. His style of teaching is a beautiful blend of lightness and profundity.
